House Freedom Caucus to draw battle lines on reconciliation fight after presenting plan to Trump
'The Big Money Show' co-host Brian Brenberg weighs in on President-elect Trump's floated idea of an External Revenue Service and President Biden's warning about the future of artificial intelligence. FIRST ON FOX: The conservative House Freedom Caucus is preparing to release a proposal for Republicans' planned conservative policy overhaul that would raise the debt limit by two years or roughly 4 trillion, Fox News Digital is told. Congressional Republicans are preparing for a massive conservative policy overhaul through the budget reconciliation process. By lowering the threshold for passage in the Senate from 60 votes to 51, reconciliation allows the party controlling Congress and the White House to pass broad policy changes -- provided they deal with budgetary and other fiscal matters. However, there has been some disagreement over whether to pass all of their goals – touching on border security, defense, spending cuts, tax cuts, and energy – in one single bill to not risk any items falling behind, or split the priorities into two separate pieces of legislation to ensure early victory on at least some measures.

North Koreans killed in Kursk as they enter Russia-Ukraine war in earnest
North Korean soldiers began to go home in body bags over the weekend, as they fought alongside Russians in large numbers for the first time. "Today, we already have preliminary data that the Russians have begun to use North Korean soldiers in their assaults. A significant number of them," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday. Ukraine's military intelligence (GUR) reported the North Koreans were embedded with Russian Marines and Airborne troops – elite units – in the Russian region of Kursk, which Ukraine has counter-invaded. "At one of the positions in the Kursk region, the [Democratic People's Republic of Korea- DPRK] army soldiers were effectively'covered' with [First Person View] drones," the GUR said in a statement, estimating combined losses of Russians and North Koreans at 200 on the first day of engagement.

DNC National Finance Committee member Lindy Li joins'Fox & Friends Weekend' to weigh in on tech giants contributing to President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration fund. DNC National Finance Committee member Lindy Li said the Democratic Party has been weakened by President-elect Donald Trump's victory to the point it has the stench of "loser" on it. Meta says AI had only 'modest' impact on global elections in 2024
Despite fears that artificial intelligence (AI) could influence the outcome of elections around the world, the United States technology giant Meta said it detected little impact across its platforms this year. That was in part due to defensive measures designed to prevent coordinated networks of accounts, or bots, from grabbing attention on Facebook, Instagram and Threads, Meta president of global affairs Nick Clegg told reporters on Tuesday. "I don't think the use of generative AI was a particularly effective tool for them to evade our trip wires," Clegg said of actors behind coordinated disinformation campaigns. In 2024, Meta says it ran several election operations centres around the world to monitor content issues, including during elections in the US, Bangladesh, Brazil, France, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Most of the covert influence operations it has disrupted in recent years were carried out by actors from Russia, Iran and China, Clegg said, adding that Meta took down about 20 "covert influence operations" on its platform this year.

EXCLUSIVE - Author and filmmaker Justine Bateman expressed optimism for the country following President-elect Donald Trump's historic victory, saying it felt like a cloud had been lifted. I feel great, in fact," Bateman told Fox News Digital in an interview. "I feel like there was this kind of suffocating cloud that was kind of over us… Regular people who had questions about decisions that were being made were threatened subtly or obviously into silence. And I feel like that's been broken, that sort of suppression has been kind of broken." Bateman, best known for playing Mallory Keaton on the hit 1980s sitcom "Family Ties," recently went viral for referring to the last four years as being "a very un-American period" for free expression and that only "permitted positions" were accepted by the powers that be. "My belief is that everyone should be free to live their life exactly how they want to live it.
